This was always my favorite cake growing up....YUM!! This was always my favorite cake growing up. We would always see it show up on Christmas. My mother did not use the southern version by using cream cheese in her frosting, but a harder to make buttercream. I could never get the cornstarch not to look like I dumped a ton of tapioca into the frosting. I loved your photo sequence!
